I am thinking of opening a hairdressing and beauty salon in Lassi.  Can you tell me if this will be difficult to achieve for an English couple although we do have our own house on the Island ?

Setting up a hairdressing business in your own right would entail a fair amount of bureaucracy.  The Greek authorities’ reluctance to accept ’outside’ qualifications could lead to terminal frustration.

However, we know of English people who work as employees to Greek registered hairdressers and beauticians without any problems.  There is at least one hotel in Lassi wherein you will find British hair-and-beauty salons.
