I am interested in working in Kefalonia.  I am a graduate Nurse Practitioner.

I understand that there are not enough employment

vacancies for doctors—is there a similar situation for Nurse Practitioners ?

Sorry—Despite our best efforts we have been unable to

ascertain the official situation. 

Public Sector nurses are, effectively, civil servants and their employment is governed centrally by the Greek health authority.

There is little doubt that our hospitals could benefit from your expertise although you would need to be fluent in Greek and Greek medical parlance.

May we suggest that you contact the Greek Embassy in

London to enquire about your specific employment

requirements.
