What are the charges / costs quoted beneath the price of each property on your website ?

Is this a one-off charge or an annual charge ?

First of all—the figures shown are the total ‘once-only’ charges for purchasing property outright.  We are not

involved in renting property and so there are NO

recurring costs.

Remember that Kefalonian Homes deals with all the

administration  costs as part of its ’start-to-finish’ service.

As a guide—the following charges are levied, as covered by government legislation, on the purchase price:

¨ 1.2% plus v.a.t. for Public Notary services.

¨ 1% plus 300 Euros for the solicitor

¨ 2% plus v.a.t. for the agent.

¨ Purchase tax of 7% on the first 15,000 Euros

          plus 9% on the remainder.

¨ A fee for Land Registry

¨ Various nominal charges for  paperwork.
