The short answer is yes—if you go about it in the right way.
However - if you miss a single step in the bureaucratic process then you will probably regret ever trying ! Greece still imposes heavy duties on imported cars if the correct steps are not followed. The biggest problem is in establishing the correct steps. There are several official websites covering this problem and all seem marginally different !
You would be far better off, in the long run, selling your British car in Britain and buying a Greek-registered car here.
If you do opt to import your car then you may pay higher insurance premiums in Greece, due to the lack of availability of RHD (right-hand-drive) parts. The resale value of a RHD car would be minimal.
Besides - if you intend to drive on Greek roads, amidst Greek drivers - take our word for it - you NEED a left hand drive vehicle !
