In response to many enquiries and suggestions this website has been expanded to include practical advice on matters relating to owning property and living on Kefalonia.

 

Most people holidaying on Kefalonia instantly fall in love with the island.

 

It’s a natural progression to dream about living on such a wonderful island  - but all too often the dreams and ambitions fade quickly when returning to the stress of life back home. 

 

“It would be great to live there but I need to know more…”

 

Is it true that there is no council tax?**   …

What’s it like in Winter? …

Are there medical facilities? …… 

Are there schools for British children ? ….

right down to ... can I buy Marmite there ?!!

 

So, to help you, we’ve opened a ‘passive’ message board.

 

Please use this to ask any questions relating to life on Kefalonia and we will attempt to give an unbiased answer.  If we don’t know the answer we will try to find it for you—and if others would like to add their knowledge or comments they are welcome to do so via this message-board.
